I know I've been teasing you guys with Mr. Giggly Hyena's counterpart, and after many hand-cramps and tedious testing, I'm showing you them both together.
Just so you know this is kind of a junkie frankenstien job of fusing the old quicktime mov I used before with the pencil test of the new one, so there are a couple quirks that will be fixed in the final version (like the weird hand thing that happens when they do the paper switchoff). And Ben pointed out that I should probably tell you that the second hyena is going to be sitting on a rock in the final version. That's why he's a touch elevated in comparison to the first hyena. He's also going to be slightly behind the first hyena as well.
Anyways, I hope you like it! Losta' work was put into this project, and I know there's a lot more work to come.
Thanks for waiting, folks. Hope I made the wait worthwhile.
Sound clip is from Sifl and Olly
And the Sorenson compressor was used for this animation, so you'll probably need the latest version of Quicktime to view.
Waah thats awesome! REally inspiring animation. I'm working on a cut out at the moment and now I just wanna do some pencil work 8D I nearly choked on my sweet laughing with them <3
Wow-E!! The animation moves so smoothly! I barely noticed any flaws to be honest.
The voice acting was brilliant as well! I couldn't help but laugh along with the hyenas! XD
Just seeing wonderful animation such as this only can encourage me more to keep practicing and learn to animate as best I can. So far I've only been introduced to Flash and make half-assed animations. Mostly because my teacher is learning along with us. >_> I do try looking up tutorials, and a way to hack Flash for myself to use at home *cough*.
I also want to do pencil animations so once I leave High School this year maybe I'll immediately get a taste of that. = )
Hope you don't mind answering questions from me in the near future!
