@00:21"God forgot about me"

If that was the case, you would be god-forsaken.

Not a bad animation, by the way.

@00:15Thank you kindly! It's tough to get hand gestures in there when he has wings.

@00:19Thank you for such kind words! I'm always happy when it seems I've communicated a character's feelings and thoughts.

God Forgot About Me COMPLETE by basakward. Although this is a short piece, it demonstrates a tremendous understanding of classic animation techniques. The characters have a lot of charm and the style once again just screams classics. All in all a fantastic animated short! ( Featured by kingmancheng )

Absolutely breath taking! This short animation made my heart melt. It holds the classic animation i loved as a young child and brings it back a new! The way you drew your characters especially enhances them and their emotion. Great job! You deserve all the praise and glory you have been receiving because of this piece.

Takes me back to the days of popping in those old animated movies on VHS. There's a lot of heart in this.

This was absolutely wonderful to see! I had to watch it a few times, actually.  :]
Your animation is so smooth! And how flawlessly his mouth moved with the words is amazing.

That is SUPER good, man.  Really impressed by your acting and animating chops!  We need to do something together someday.  (That's what I was thinking the whole time I was watching it.)  I see you have a strong Don Bluth influence in your character design, but in a good way.  (Not later, Don, but earlier Don.)  John Pomeroy is a friend of mine and lives near me.  You should check out some of his animation lessons (a little beginner level for you, but still, only $10) on my art instruction site: www.taughtbyapro.com

...  I was not expecting that.  Thank you so much!  You have no idea how much it means to me to hear you say that...  Well, you probably do when you've received praise from animators you admire.  I'm absolutely shocked.  Haha!

Nothing would make me happier than to work on a project with you.  I had the good fortune to work with Aaron Blaise and Dominic Carola on the Lohn Lewis "Bear and Hare" ad, and I still keep in touch with Dom and Tony West.  If I do get to work with you, I need you to sign the Disney yearbooks I managed to get my hands on.  :)

Anyway, thank you again for your kind words.  You made a man's day today.

Thank you! by basakward

Glad my easy to give kind words touched you.  Ha, I remember the yearbook, that's cool that you got one.  I will keep looking for the chance to work with you.  I have some plans so we'll see if they take off.  Good to know you bro.
