What you could do... is start your own company, get famous, outperform Disney, and then get bought out - like every other company that outperforms Disney.

Haha!  Then I would be rich, and have enough money to start another project.

For some reason, I tend to love the roughs more than the cleanups, 'cause in a way, it kinda tells some sort of story with how each frame is drawn. But y'know you're work is as great as ever. Keep it up. =)

Roughs are my favorites too. But I am currently cleaning the dog up, so he'll be given the full treatment as well. Thanks for the kind words!

Not just that the character moves and talks beautifully, not just that it's a good design, but you had the good taste to use Burgess Meredith.

Bravo, dude.

I really like the overlapping of the bird's cheek feathers. It really adds that extra little bit of life.
The expressions and character design are really good too!
Great job!

I love the fluid feel of this! I've always had trouble getting inbetweens to stop jumping/jittering around. Is it something that just comes with practice or were the specific exercises you went through for this type of stuff?

:iconbasakward:
basakward Featured By Owner Jun 29, 2013  Professional Filmographer
This was all done digitally on a cintiq, so paper registration isn't an issue. But believe me, there was jitter happening. You just need to go in and refine the tweens until the jitter is smoothed over. 2D animation (for me anyway) is about 1/3 creating, and 2/3 refining. As far as specific exercizes, the technicalities all boil down to proper spacing and motion paths.
