Video Game Awards part 02

It's been a while since I've added anything to my Deviant ART gallery, and this project is my full-blown excuse. This project has been the studio's main project for the past 1.5 months and has been the bane of my existance. I haven't seen it on tv yet, but that's nothing special.. Most of this is due to the fact that I hardly watch television. I watch Family Guy and that's about it. However, it's a promo for Spike TV so it should be aired on that channel a lot. But I was told that they were going to try and put it on various Viacom stations so you non-Spike fans might catch a glimpse of it as well.

If you know my work you've probably noticed that this isn't really my trademark style of drawing, eh? Well that's because the criminal mastermind behind this project is the extremely talented who was the lead animator. I did mostly assistant animation as well as some of the shading and highlights (which we call red-lining). Other DA folks who helped on this project are who did a lot of the coloring and who was one of the Maya gurus who worked on the 3d backgrounds. I've also gathered that there's a couple of DA people who helped with the pre-production storyboards, layouts, etc.

Right now we're working on the second half of this promo that will be released some time next month. If you watch a lot of tv, keep your eyes peeled for either of 'em and tell me what you think!
